*Important Ordering Tips!*

  • Always double-check your shipping address!! If you later realize you have given the wrong address, please email me ASAP with the correct address so I can fix this for you. Please note that once the item is shipped, I cannot change the address nor offer a refund so please make sure the address is correct.

  • Check if your country has custom fees or import/handling fees! *read further under “Customs fees” below* This will vary from country to country, but some require a fee before you can receive your order. Because of Brexit, EU customers will also need to check this.

  • If you’ve selected standard shipping but decide after that you want tracking or express shipping instead, please email me ASAP. I’ll let you know how much is owed for the extra postage, and once that’s received I can sort out your new shipping label. However, I can’t change this if the order has already shipped, so please email me if you’d like to change as soon as you can.

  • If you’ve missed out on a limited or hand-made product because it has sold out, try setting up a notification for the next time I have a shop update! I will always announce a date in time and advance for those who want to do this. A notification can help you be one of the first people to grab what you like at the next update. :)

  • While it is more expensive, I really highly recommend requesting tracked shipping with your orders. I can’t replace or refund orders lost in the mail, so having a way to track your order can help a lot.

  • For those wondering, international tracked shipping includes:

    • Europe delivery aim: 3-5 working days *not including COVID delays

    • Worldwide delivery aim: 5-7 working days *not including COVID delays

    • Fully tracked to the delivery point

    • Online delivery confirmation

    • Free returns for undelivered items

    • Compensation cover up to £50

Mail Block

If you live in Australia or New Zealand, because of the mail block I cannot ship anything to you other than stickers! It’s the only thing I have that will definitely fit in a letter sized envelope. Even smaller prints won’t be shipped, as I use extra hard backing for protection.

I can’t adjust my shop to only allow you to order stickers, so if you’re in this region and order anything other than stickers, I will have to cancel your order - sorry! Of course, you will be issues a full refund though. :)

Customs Fees

Please be aware of your countries policies on customs fees! Each countries rules on this may vary, so it’s important to check if you’ll be having to pay any additional costs once your order reaches your country’s customs office.

Due to Brexit, EU customers will now also have to pay additional taxes and service fees :( I will not be collecting these fees or import taxes, so they won’t be included in the price at checkout. Each country’s rules will vary, so please make sure you research your country’s customs rules to determine any additional costs you may have to pay. Once your order enters your country, your customs office should make you aware of any additional costs you may have to pay, and you must pay them to your country to claim your order. Unfortunately, these fees will usually apply to almost all packages no matter the value or size. The new customs changes mean you might also experience delays due to processing.

If you decide that you don’t want to pay these customs fees, just let me know and your item should be returned to me. Once I receive the package, I can then refund your order (minus 10% and shipping costs). Alternatively, if you accidentally forget to pay the customs fees and your order is sent back to me, you can simply pay for shipping again to have the order reshipped.

Why don’t you ship to my country/state?

Since my shop is newly opened, I am still in the process of adding countries to my delivery list. I always prefer to research rules and regulations when it comes to shipping before adding a new country, state, or region. This is to ensure your order doesn’t run into any issues during delivery and it’s handled properly. Also so that I don’t run into major tax issues! If your country or state isn’t on the list, please send me an email and I will try my best to add it to my delivery list! :)

If you’re in the USA, please note I’m currently not shipping to Florida, Kansas, Oklahma, Pennsylvania, and Rhode Island. I’m hoping this is temporary! These states have some strange tax rules that I need to figure out before I can ship there, I’m terribly sorry! :(

When will my order be shipped?

Your order will be packaged and shipped within a week of purchasing (with the exception of custom-made orders, which may take a little bit longer as they’re handmade). On average, orders made between Sunday-Wednesday will be posted on Friday, while orders between Thursday-Saturday will be posted on Monday. Even if a week is particularly hectic, your order won’t be shipped any later than 7 days.

Delivery Costs

100% of all delivery costs go towards the delivery fee. I do not profit from the delivery costs (nor do I want to), and I try to make them as realistic and cheap as I can for you. The price of delivery varies based on the weight of the package, the size, as well as what country/region it’s sent to. I have to enter my prices manually, so I get all of my cost references from the most up-to-date Royal Mail pricing guide.

Covid-19 Delays

Covid-19 is still having an affect on postal services in some countries, so please be patient as you wait for your order! International orders in particular are at the highest risk of unexpected delays. For the time being, this is why I strongly suggest that you purchase tracked shipping if you live in a country that’s still greatly affected by Covid-19. This is to ensure that your order doesn’t get lost and you can track its progress on its way to you. It also means your order will have priority shipping and includes up to £50 compensation for loss or damage (which hopefully there won’t be!).

For UK orders, please allow 1-2 weeks.

For international orders, please allow 2-6+ weeks.

These are estimates that I’ve found from other artists that also ship internationally. While I wish I could provide a smaller time frame, I simply cannot predict when ships/flights might be cancelled slowing down the delivery.

Return Policy

As a small business, I cannot accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations. However, please kindly contact me if you have a problem with your order. I will do my best to assist you.

If you haven’t selected tracked shipping and your item gets lost in transit, it’s unfortunately not possible for me to find, refund, or replace the lost items. While this may be the expectation of large companies, I am a small business run entirely by myself and I can’t afford to refund and replace items that cannot be accounted for. I can’t take responsibility for the postal service. While the mail service is particularly slow during the pandemic, I would highly recommend purchasing tracked shipping if you live outside of the UK.

I package my orders with enough protection to withstand rough handling and water/dampness, but I cannot take responsibility or replace products damaged in transit. I also cannot take responsibility or replace products damaged through use. However, feel free to contact me for tips if you accidentally damage your product, as I may be able to advise on how you can fix it.

Thank you for your understanding! :)

Caring for your Print

At the moment I offer prints on two types of paper, which I select based on the illustration itself. Here are some general tips for preserving the life of your print:

  • Keep out of direct sunlight, over time this will cause the color to fade

  • Cool and dry conditions are best, avoid locations such as bathrooms or unfinished basements that might have a lot of humidity or damp.

  • Always avoid touching the ink surface of your print with your fingers

300g Ultra Pearlescent Paper

  • The glossy finish helps bring out bright colors and sharpen details in the image, but also makes the print more susceptible to fingerprints. To avoid oil, dirt, or other contaminants affecting the piece please frame it.

  • With that being said, handle the paper by the edges to avoid touching the printed surface.

230g Archival Matte Paper

  • Matte paper crispens an image and won’t have any glossy reflective sheen on it. However, because the paper doesn’t have a glossy protective coating the paper is more susceptible to scratching.

  • To avoid the risk of scratching and damage to the ink surface of your print, please frame it.

What packaging materials do you use?

While it’s a constant growing process, I very much want to be eco-conscious so I try to limit the use of unneeded materials or plastics as much as I can. For example, instead of using stickers to decorate my packaging, I hand-carve my own stamps to make them just as pretty and fun! The paper and envelopes I use are made from recycled materials or can be recycled/reused themselves. Tissue paper in general isn’t recyclable because the fibres are too short, but I make mine pretty so you can reuse it. :) Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to eliminate plastic as prints and stickers must be sealed so that they don’t get any water damage :( I’m always looking for more eco-friendly alternatives that can protect your order appropriately, so if you have any tips please contact me!

How do you process orders?

While some of my products are hand-made before a shop update, all of my prints and stickers are made to order! Once you’ve purchased your items I will get to work printing, cutting, and preparing them for delivery. Once they’re all wrapped up neatly, I attach the shipping labels and make my way down to the post office. I’m a one-man show so everything is cared for by me personally! :)

About the Artist - FAQ

When did you start your business?

After graduating in 2019, I started working full-time as an Illustrator and have been ever since. My day job is working as a Creative Lead for a wonderful company based in Lincoln, then in my free time I work on the freelance side of my business. I quite love this combination as I get to work independently on my own projects but I also get to work with lovely colleagues during the day. When working on my freelance business, my work includes running my shop, working on commissions, as well as diving into my own personal projects. This is a big reason why I opened my shop, as I’m hoping that it can help fund my bigger projects such as publishing my own children’s book!

Did you study art in University?

Yes, I did! I graduated top of my class from the University of Lincoln with a BA in Illustration. While I loved my time at university, it’s definitely not for everyone and also not entirely necessary for having a career as a creative. I personally found my time invaluable simply because of the life lessons I learned, the habits I developed, and the relationships I built. I know many artists that have a thriving creative career and never went to or graduated from university. I think it often depends on how much time, effort, and research you’re willing to put into your business, regardless of if you have a degree or not. While I found a lot of benefits from studying at university, it’s always best to consider where you personally would thrive the most.

What are your favorite art materials?

I have so many! Here’s a list of my go-to brands and products:

  • Sketchbook: Hahnemuhle Travel Sketchbooks

  • Watercolors: Winsor & Newton pan watercolors

  • Gouache: Winsor & Newton (but I haven’t tried many others! I’d love to try Holbein)

  • Brushes: Any nice synthetic brush, but my favorites for details are Pro Arte brushes

  • Paper: Saunders Waterford 300g hot pressed

  • Colored Pencils: Prismacolor Premier

  • Graphite Pencils: I love a 0.5mm Zebra mechanical pencil, 4B Palomino pencil, or any 2B pencil

What do you use for your digital art?

I’ve been using Surface Books for five years now, and I love it! I very rarely will do a 100% digital piece, I almost always start with a traditional painting. I will upload scans/photos of my paintings into photoshop and refine them there. When I need to work on animation or video editing I will switch to my PC since it runs a lot faster.
